Sem dúvida é um programa sempre a ter em conta e que vale a pena baixar (AQUI) a versão grátis que faz quase tudo da versão paga.
Na atualização 12.5 foram feitas mais de 1000 melhorias e 250 novos recursos e com isso  milhares de pessoas passaram a usar o DaVinci Resolve como editor e não só para coloração. Outro ponto positivo foi a rapidez com que fizeram as atualizações que se estava pedindo no fórum da Blackmagic. Em um mês temos ai a versão 12.5.1

A atualização 12.5.1 para o DaVinci Resolve está disponível para download (AQUI) .
Esta atualização fornece a capacidade de decodificar arquivos Apple ProRes no Windows, o que evita a necessidade de usar o QuickTime 7.
Também foi otimizado o corte e edição de material gravado com múltiplas câmeras, porque agora o programa usa um código próprio de 64 bits para ler e criar arquivos .mov
Além disso, novos efeitos foram adicionados no ResolveFX ( Generate Color e Tilt-shift Blur). Esta versão também suporta Ultra HD H.264 renders noWindows, HEVC (H.265) decoding on Linux, o formato Sony X-OCN , alpha channel em conteúdos DNxHR 444, melhoria no encoding AAC, facilita o processamento de arquivos AVCHD .mts  e muito mais.

Edit Improvements

  • Improved 2-up and 4-up, multicam and playback performance when using QuickTime ProRes on Windows
  • Added menu items to allow selection of clips based on Flag, Marker and Clip colors on the edit timeline
